What is a revenue powerplant?
A power plant. Often imagined as an ageing building with red brickwork and large chimneys, whose best days are long in the past.
Is that really the case? That’s maybe true, but aren't these old power plants also the cornerstone of our current prosperity?
Too often, we jump on new trends too quickly, expecting to improve our performance with the snap of a finger.
Bitcoin, Chat-GPT, Tik-Tok and Instagram seem to set the pace in our modern world.
Disruptive technologies are changing our business models and private lives. Often to our advantage, but also to our disadvantage.
In addition to adapting to new technologies, traditional factors such as:
Sales competence & fast sales closings
Excellent public relations
Resistance to crisis & conflict management
Cohesion, adaptation & growth
are too often placed on a lower priority.
The revenue powerplant will close this gap.
Rainhard Rodler - Founder & Owner
„When a personal conviction leads to the founding of a company, things usually get serious!“
As the head of the revenue powerplant, this quote has haunted me for a long time.
Although my main focus is on increasing the profitability of our customers at ABB, it was important to me to pour my personal drive also into a separate foundation.
The turnover powerplant stands on this foundation today.
Particular in Germany, but in other countries as well, private individuals, SMEs and international corporations have the problem of keeping up with the changes in technology and society.
New devices and software are quickly purchased, but what about the people behind them who are responsible for your success?
Are there regular “updates” for people too?
It is important to me, to transfer and translate traditional skills which are essential for a healthy company, to improve, translate and apply them into the “present”.
I’m also familiar with crises such as a death, a serious illness or a “pain chain” in where several employees leave a company within a short time.
My mission is to de-escalate these situations and path the way towards a future with potential.
Sustainability
The revenue powerplant is aware of its responsibility and is committed to the Foundation for Forest Companies through donations.
For every workshop booked, we have a tree planted in Germany.
Depending on your choice, we book a spruce in the Harz Mountains in Lower Saxony or a fir in Freiburg im Breisgau.
On private training sessions we ask personally for the tree preference; for commercial customers, we reserve the right to make a selection ourselves.
Social responsibility
Positive psychology knows the pay-it-forward principle.
Passing on the kindness you experience to others.
Contrary to the principle of “preaching water and drinking wine”, the revenue power plant adheres to this principle.
Due to this, 1% of the profit from the sales of our projects is donated to the Swiss association “Refugium”.
For media-ethical reasons, the topic of this association receives little public attention, but if you are interested, please take a look.
